What facilitates real change?

Approach & Modalities explained.

Connecting your past with the present

1

Where are we, where have we come from, and where are we going?

Often we begin therapy because the pain or drama or chaos or loneliness or choices we have been feeling/making are ready to overwhelm us. The old way isn’t working anymore.

We need tools to bring stability to the present moment, while examining what brought us here. From our family of origin to our patterns of codependency, the modalities that we use bring clarity to our story.

2

The work between our Sessions.

We get a little under an hour together, once a week, if that. The vast majority of your life is lived outside of our sessions and what you do with that time should have clear options.

At the conclusion of each session, we’ll collaborate to understand what might be helpful: whether it’s something experiential, educational, or a beautiful poem to linger on… we want to use the time for your benefit.

3

The Path to Change.

We begin by looking for understanding. What is the story that you have lived? Where is the pain coming from? Can you connect with your true self?

If you are to move beyond soothing symptoms, we’ll need to spend some time pursuing a deeper understanding. With that comes the opportunity to heal, to integrate, and to begin living whole hearted.

FAQs

Do you work with men and women? How old?

Yes. I work with men and women, as individuals and as couples counseling. I work with adults, and would be happy to provide a referral for a teen or child therapist, as that is not my area of expertise.

Do you offer deliverance or healing prayer?

No, I do not. This might come as a surprise to some. I am a dedicated Christian and live a regular spiritual practice. It influences my view of the world. Discussing faith often comes up with my clients, when it is appropriate to their story. If you are seeking a spiritual deliverance, I would encourage you to seek elsewhere.

Can you do Intensives?

Yes, though I would first encourage folks to look into a Workshop. I do offer in-person intensives, which you can request when reaching out.

Do you take insurance?

No, I am strictly private pay.

It’s time to take a look at your Heart.
